Traditional Chinese Medicine has evolved and grown for thousands of years, and we use our knowledge of those practices to be your helping hand and companion so you can live and enjoy your life to its fullest potential.
Benjamin McCrary MAcOM, L.A.c comes from a medical family. His father is a general practitioner, his brother is a podiatrist, and his aunt and sister are both nurses. The choice of working in healthcare might have been an easy choice, but choosing a non-conventional route came out of a strong desire to help others by using a more natural approach. He graduated from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine with a Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He also holds certifications in Asian Bodywork Therapy, Thai Massage, Cupping Therapy, and Level II Reiki. He has completed an international training program in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China. He has treated over 500 patients in clinics for Acupuncture, Asian Bodywork Therapy, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He has received training in Japanese Acupuncture, Master Dong Style Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, and Acudetox Auricular Therapy.
In his spare time Ben enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, practicing his Spanish (he is bi-lingual), running, playing music, and martial arts. He holds a Second Degree Instructor rank in Ving Tsun Kung Fu from the National Ving Tsun Organization and has many years of study in Tai Chi Quan. He also teaches Ving Tsun and Tai Chi in conjunction with his practice as a part the mind/body emphasis of Chinese Medical traditions.
